The objective of the project is to provide the members of the SFB with techniques specifically adopted fort he pig. A complete set of techniques will be provided; porcine-specific transcript microarray, 2D- DIGE electrophoresis quantitative Western blot, ELISA. Specialized software packages as Digital Differential Display; EST expression data, standardization tools, MAQC, microarray interpretation and bioinformatic software tools will guarantee valid interpretations. To diagnose and interpret adaptive responses and pathological changes, morphological profiling will be provided.
